Shipping policy
Shipping of live plants and custom arrangements will occur between Monday and Friday, year round. Â All orders will be shipped out within 3 to 6 business days. In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for your order to arrive after it is placed. While we do ship orders Monday through Friday, all efforts are made to make shipments between Monday and Wednesday so as to avoid plants being stuck in transit over the weekend.Â
Shipping will be via United States Postal Service Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY. We do not ship internationally. Free Shipping is 2 to 4 days, depending on your distance from California.
All of our plants are individually wrapped in tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy box. The voids in the box are filled with eco-friendly packing material to protect the plants during transit. Most 2" plants are shipped in their original plastic pot with soil. Fragile and big 4" and 6" plants are shipped bare-root to ensure their safety. Upon receiving bare-root plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot using dry soil, water as needed and provide ample sunlight.Â
If ordering for an event, include the event date in a message at checkout. We will ship out your order 5-6 days before your scheduled event using USPS 1-3 day priority mail.
EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE:Â Rooted in Paradise Succulent Studio reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. However, Rooted in Paradise Succulent Studio is not responsible for damage done to plants caused by freezing or hot weather.Â
It is the responsibility of customers residing in areas subject to freezing temperatures to purchase a heat pack to accompany their order. While heat packs do not guarantee protection from frost, they will help prevent damage from occurring.Â
It is the responsibility of customers residing in areas subject to extreme heat waves to plan the shipments for after temperatures have dropped or to let us know to hold off until the weather is safe for shipping.Â
INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES AND UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES:
Rooted in Paradise Succulent Studio is not responsible for packages that are returned to our facility by USPS due to an incomplete or incorrect address. Please double check the shipping address provided during the checkout process to ensure that your package arrives at its intended destination. There are no refunds or store credit for plants that are damaged in transit due to being "Returned to Sender" by USPS. Â
USE OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
Using freight forwarders to circumvent United States regulations regarding the export of plant matter is strictly prohibited.  Rooted in Paradise Succulent Studio ships within the U.S. and its outlying territories ONLY. Â
